We draw it.
We build it.

PDR Builders is a design-build firm based in Los Altos, serving the Bay Area. Architecture, construction and interiors under one roof, one schedule and one contract.

One accountable team

One team.
One contract.

Most homeowners hire an architect, then a builder, then spend the project mediating between them. We removed the gap. When something changes on site, the person who drew it is standing there, and cost and schedule are tested against the drawings while they’re still drawings.

  • One price to plan aroundWe estimate while we design, so the plans never outgrow the budget you told us.
  • One schedulePermits, ordering and trades are sequenced by the same team that drew the project.
  • One phone callNo finger-pointing between designer and builder. If it’s on the project, it’s ours.

Our approach

Four steps.

One team the whole way. You meet the same people on day one and on the day we hand you the keys.

  1. 01

    Discover

We walk the property, review zoning and setbacks, and talk through how you live and what you want to spend. You leave the first meetings with a realistic range, not a sales pitch.

  2. 02

    Design

Our architect develops plans, elevations and 3D views. We price the design as it takes shape, so every decision comes with a number attached.

  3. 03

    Build

The same team pulls permits and builds. One schedule, one site lead, and regular updates so you never have to chase information.

  4. 04

    Handover

A full walkthrough, a closed punch list, and the drawings, specs and warranties you need to look after the home for years.
